1. Be Knowledgeable
• Do your homework! Read up about architectural history, various styles, locations, materials, and specific architects. This will give you a good feel for your subject and strengthen your interest.

2. Consider the Light
• Buildings look different throughout the day. Clouds can wash out the colors, while a bright sun can bring them out. Be purposeful of the time and direction of your photograph. Use a compass to keep track of where the sun will be and check throughout the day what the building will look like from particular angles.

3. Polarizer!
• Try using a polarizer on your camera as a filter. This will bring out the building against the sky, while strengthening the look of the sky as well.

4. Try Dusk
• Just try it! When you capture images of architecture at dusk, there are less people around with the street lights still on. This could result in some interesting photographs. It's worth a shot!

5. Perspective Corrections
• You can use a perspective correction lens to make sure everything is right. However, you can also make the most of the Perspective Correction feature in Silkypix. It will automatically crop your photograph for you to fix the perspective. Just another great feature of SILKYPIX.
